When:  Saturday, October 31 at 10:00 am

Where: Corner of Howard & Saratoga Streets in Historic Downtown Baltimore

Calling all neighborhood volunteers!  Do you have a green thumb?  Like playing in the dirt?  If so, we need you!

The City of Baltimore has awarded a grant to the CCRA for a greening project right in our neighborhood!  This Saturday, in partnership with the Market Center Merchants Association and Green Fields Nursery & Landscaping, we will be planting trees and shrubs along Howard Street in the heart of Baltimore’s historic retail shopping district!  We need your help to do it!

Take in the timeless beauty of the Hutzler Brothers Palace Building, the old Stewart’s Department Store, and many others Baltimore treasures, while making some new friends and pitching in to improve your community.

Tools, snacks, and water bottles will be provided for volunteers.  Just bring yourself and comfortable clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting a little dirty.  This event will be held rain or shine.  Email info@citycenterresidents.org with any questions.

One more thing — costumes are encouraged for this Halloween-themed event, as we’ve told the local media that this will be an “in-costume” tree planting, and we are hoping they will pay us a visit.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, we are capping this event at 10 volunteers, so please RSVP as soon as possible by clicking the link below. Masks will be required of all participants at all times.

See you on Saturday!
