Sharon Abraham is a global operations professional with over 20 years of experience in nonprofit and for-profit sectors. At Catholic Relief Services (CRS), she held leadership roles including Head of Operations in Pakistan, Deputy Regional Director of Operations for Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia, Director of People Support Experience and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. At CRS’s global headquarters, she led major initiatives like a global compensation review and agency-wide budgeting for over 800 managers, while streamlining financial processes and driving operational improvements.
In 2024, Sharon served as Head of Program Finance at GOAL USA, overseeing financial strategy and reporting for humanitarian programs. Before that, she consulted with GOAL on project start-up and financial reporting.
Sharon holds a master’s degree in finance, a project management certification, and is a 2024 graduate of the World Trade Center Institute’s Bowe Leadership Fellows program.
Active in governance, Sharon was President of a Homeowners Association for three years and currently chairs the Social Committee for her condo building, fostering community engagement in Baltimore.
Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, marathon running, volunteering, and exploring Baltimore’s vibrant restaurant and cultural scene, where she has lived with her partner, Will, for six years.
